MESSAGE OF THE PRINCIPAL
Altajer Rahman Degree College was founded in 1994 at Altajer Rahman road near circuit house & the gate of Bhola Pawrasava (municipal). It is located in an important place of Bhola. The environment of the college is very charming. The founders of the college are late Altajer Rahman’s descends former state minister of water resource & religious affairs and member of parliament Mr. Mossaref Hossain Sahjahan, Mayor of Bhola Municipal Mr. Golam Nabi Alamgir and renowned businessman, social worker & sports organizer Mr. Golam Kibria Jahangir. It has three divisions in degree section such as B.A, B.B.S & B.S.S. In Higher Secondary class it has three divisions such as (1) Science (2) Business Studies & (3) Humanities. It is a tutorial centre of Bangladesh Open University. It runs B.A, B.S.S & H.S.C programs of BOU. The college was affiliated by Jessore board in 1995. The College has its own campus with uncommon scenic beauty. At present near about 700 students study in this college. The college has been making good results in public examinations. Academic atmosphere of this college is very nice. Prevailing politics in the college campus is not allowed.
